Port Mansfield offers some of the best fishing on the Gulf Coast. The three principle game species are redfish, flounder, and trout, although numerous other species are present. Fishing guides and charter services are available to ensure a great fishing experience. Or, simply take your rod to the bay shore or wade in the shallow Laguna Madre waters to go after the big ones. Most of the Laguna Madre is four feet deep or less and most fish are caught in shallow water.
